Collaboration project MiDiTex receives goovermental fundings from RVO

OPTECS and SHM Next has started a collaboration project called MiDiTex from April 2022. ). The joint development objective is a Mill Digital Twin Expert System (MiDiTex) so that unplanned downtime can be prevented with predictive maintenance of the SAG mills and maintenance intervals are optimized. This is expected to result in energy savings of 7%.

The project duration is 18 months and Dutch regional government has funded the project in order to promote and stimulate innovation and development in province of South Holland.
